VCA Canada Kanata Animal Hospital has been serving residents in the expanding community of Kanata and Stittsville since opening our doors in 1986. Our dedicated team of veterinarians are available for evening and Saturday appointments so that we can care for your dog or cat at a time that suits your lifestyle. We provide the highest quality care on a wide range of services including preventative health care for all life stages, treating illness and injuries, nutrition consultation, soft tissue/orthopedic surgery, and complex dental procedures. Our hospital is equipped with in-house laboratory equipment, digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, and ultrasound that helps us diagnose and implement medical treatment quickly.

Our team of highly trained veterinary professionals includes Registered Veterinary Technicians, Veterinary Assistants, and Client Care Representatives who are passionate about helping your companion animals lead long, happy, and healthy lives. We understand that “happy” and “vet visit” don’t always coincide (especially with our feline friends!) so we’ve worked hard to become certified with the American Association of Feline Practitioners as a Cat Friendly Practice. We’ve implemented changes to provide a less stressful and more calming experience for cats with gentle handling throughout all aspects of the visit including examinations, procedures, and hospitalization. We haven’t forgotten about the dogs though! We have dedicated team members who are working on becoming Fear Free certified professionals to help care for the emotional as well as physical well-being of our patients.
