Yufuko Mochizuki, Veterinarian
Dr. Mochi received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Rakuno Gakuen University in Japan. She started her career as in public health sector for prefecture government for 5 years in the northern island there, then immigrated to Canada in 2011. She worked as a veterinary technician both at a general practice and an emergency/referral hospital before she obtained her veterinary license in North America. She re-started her career as a veterinarian at a 24/7 general practice, and then joined Willowdale Animal hospital in early 2022.
Her current interest in veterinary medicine is ultrasound and dentistry to help improve her patients' health and quality of life.
Outside of work, Dr. Mochi enjoys reading, sewing, hiking, and napping with her two cats, Jace and Moko. She also has continued her martial art practice for Japanese style archery (Kyudo) since 2009.
